Welcome to Indiana Environmental Clean Energy
VISION & PURPOSE
IECE-J40 is a statewide nonprofit network of organizations working together to advance a sustainable environment while creating sustainable, just and inclusive economies with opportunities for all — an approach we call "Aiming High". IECE-J40 supports energy, green infrastructure and other sustainable development projects that not only contribute to the resilience of our state but also ensure an equity stake for low-income and disadvantaged communities of color in the green economy. This includes developing the economic infrastructure for family-supporting wages and career paths for residents of such communities, as well as contracting opportunities for women, BIPOC and other disadvantaged businesses.
100% Clean Energy Economy
IECE-J40 is fighting "False Solutions" toward healing for our Indiana's Future. We are advocating for Indiana to develop a Comprehensive Climate, Environmental, Energy, and Jobs Bill to reduce utility cost for all consumers in Indiana.
Indiana has the highest cost of utility rates and solar cost per MW in America. We need ENERGY JUSTICE NOW!!!
Clean and Green
We specialize in advocacy, education, elevated community engagement of Green and clean renewable energy systems such as solar panels, geo-thermal engine, heat pumps, and wind turbines, helping our community to harness clean energy and reduce our dependency on "Dirty fossil fuels.
WE HAVE THE POWER AND PEOPLE
TO CHANGE THIS
By coming together, we can make sure every community has reliable, affordable , clean energy that isn't based on enriching executives or shareholders, but on the right of everyone to live with dignity and thrive in the communities we care about.
CLIMATE & ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE NOW!
We take a multi-faceted approach to systems change by aligning on intersectional goals with statewide power-building organizations and small grassroots groups for policy change and disruption. Our organization operates within an understanding that the root causes of climate change are racism, capitalism, and the hetero-patriarchy with the impact of these oppressive systems falling on BIPOC and low-income communities.
